CPU8
CPU8 is a compact board with a Motorola 68HC908GP32 MCU on it. Features of
the board are as follows:
- Motorola 68HC908GP32 microcontroller in 44-pin QFP package.
- High-speed 8-bit CPU core, compatible with HC05 with significant enhancements.
- 32 Kbytes in-system programmable FLASH memory.
- 512 bytes RAM.
- Integrated 2x 2 channel 16-bit timers with input capture, output compare and PWM.
- Integrated SCI and SPI communication modules.
- Integrated 8-channel, 8-bit ADC.
- Integrated watch-dog timer, power on reset and low-voltage inhibit.

- 32 KHz crystal and associated circuitry (any bus frequency up to 8.4 MHz
can be generated with the GP32's in-built PLL clock synthesizer).
- 78L05 voltage regulator.
- Space for serial EEPROM M93Cx6 of any size.
- Connection to rest of world is via a 30-pin SIL header or similar attachment.
- 7-pin connector for attachment to HC08PGMR board
for in-system programming and debugging.
