14/12/2000: 68HC08 TCP/IP stack. I am working on a small TCP/IP stack that can be implemented in the 68HC908GP32 or other HC08 derivative with minimum RAM. Currently IP, SLIP, ICMP and UDP are all implemented to varying degrees. I am working on TCP and higher level protocols. When finished this would allow an HC08 to be attached directly to a TCP/IP network (such as the internet). No host software is required for protocol translation: it is all done in the HC08. With the right hardware it would even be possible to attach an HC08 to ethernet.
14/12/2000: A 68HC908GP32 demo board. This board would include a 68HC908GP32 MCU, voltage regulator, RS232 level shifter and serial port, a few switches/buttons and lights, and some prototyping area for the user to add circuitry. It would form a convenient platform for developing 68HC08-based designs.
14/12/2000: An improved low-cost 68HC08 programmer similar to the one mentioned on this WWW page, but with a few bugs removed and more reliable.
I am also working on some 68HC08 articles covering various subjects.
